he Australian Technology Network of Universities (ATN) warmly welcomes the announcement of Professor Harlene Hayne as the new Vice Chancellor of Curtin University – a founding member of our group of innovative and enterprising universities.
Professor Hayne will bring a wealth of experience and leadership to her new role at Curtin from April 2021. She has served for ten years as Vice Chancellor of University of Otago, New Zealand and has also served as Chair of Universities New Zealand and as a member of the Board of the New Zealand Treasury.
Before her roles in New Zealand, Professor Hayne developed extensive experience in the field of psychology and research in the United States.
ATN looks forward to working with Professor Hayne when she commences her role next year.
Professor John Cordery will continue as interim Vice Chancellor until Professor Hayne commences in the role.
