ATN25 National Symposium on Curriculum Innovation
Joined by Professor Barney Glover AO and an expert panel, this interactive, online symposium will build on national discussions to explore the future of industry-engaged curricula.
In its 25th year, the Australian Technology Network of Universities (ATN) is proud to present the ATN25 National Symposium Curriculum Innovation – part of the ATN25 series of events being held during 2024.
This online symposium includes a keynote address, dynamic panel discussion and a collaborative ideation session.

Speakers
Professor Barney Glover AO, Commissioner at Jobs and Skills Australia delivered a keynote address, followed by a panel discussion with thought-leaders from industry, tertiary education and government:
- Professor Kylie Readman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education and Students) at UTS
- Kate Pounder, thought-leader from the Tech Sector
- Craig Robertson, CEO at the Victorian Skills Authority
- Professor Sherman Young, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) at RMIT
- Dr Suneeti Rekhari, Director Educational Quality at TAFE NSW.
Audience engagement
Active audience participation will be facilitated with a Q&A segment as part of both the keynote and panel discussion.
There will then be a collaborative ideation segment where we will be exploring how sectors can better collaborate and build the skills and capabilities needed to meet Australia’s workforce needs – now and into the future. Case studies of current models will prompt the discussion.
