The Australian Technology Network of Universities (ATN) congratulates Damian Kassabgi on being appointed CEO of our long-standing partner, the Tech Council of Australia (TCA).
ATN Executive Director (Interim), Frank Coletta, said ATN and the TCA have enjoyed a strong working relationship over the years, and look forward to continuing that important collaboration into the future.
“ATN and TCA have a shared goal to help meet the Federal Government’s 2030 target of 1.2 million technology-related jobs, with ATN universities leading in delivering many of the graduates required for these positions,” he said.
“Damian’s significant experience will ensure he is a strong advocate for industry, across the digital employment space and with policymakers. We congratulate him on his appointment and are delighted to work with him and the TCA team in what is a critical year for the tech and tertiary education sectors.
“Universities and the innovation we bring are an important part of the economic and employment puzzle and we will continue our work with Australia’s tech leaders and government to help deliver the skilled workforce Australia needs now and into the future.”
