The Australian Technology Network of Universities (ATN) congratulates Professor Kerri-Lee Krause on her appointment as Chief Commissioner of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).
ATN Executive Director, Dr Ant Bagshaw, said that he and the ATN team looked forward to working with her.
“I offer my warmest congratulations to Professor Krause on her appointment as TEQSA’s Chief Commissioner and would also like also to welcome Emeritus Professor Elizabeth More AM who has been named as Commissioner,” he said,
Professor Krause begins a five-year appointment as Chief Commissioner on 7 April.
“ATN Universities values the essential role TEQSA plays in maintaining the quality, standards and integrity of Australia’s higher education sector,” Dr Bagshaw added.
“We look forward to ongoing dialogue with TEQSA to support the sustainability of the sector through proportionate regulation.”
