The Australian Technology Network of Universities (ATN) will gather tertiary, industry and government minds in a new forum, focused on the role and impact of industry-engaged curricula in meeting Australia’s current and emerging skills needs.
This dynamic, online event will build on national discussions following the recently announced Universities Accord report recommendations, to improve the speed on meeting high impact skills needs and the role that cross-sector partnerships play in bridging these critical gaps.
Thought-leaders from tertiary education, industry and government will reflect on current practice models, what success looks like, and how we can effectively engage across sectors to deliver the skills required for a thriving economy.
Following a keynote address and energetic panel discussion, participants will have opportunity to actively collaborate and ideate on the event themes. Case studies of industry-engaged curricula currently in action at ATN Universities will prompt questions, discussions, and exploration of enhanced models for future industry-education engagement models.
ATN invites those from across tertiary education, government and industry, with an interest in industry-education partnerships and the reform agenda set out in the Universities Accord Final Report, to register their free attendance today.
