Dr Huan Vo-Tran is an experienced academic leader, researcher, and educator with a passion for innovation in business analytics, information management, artificial intelligence strategy, and digital transformation. As Head of the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (DISBA) at RMIT University, Dr Vo-Tran is dedicated to positioning the department at the forefront of educational technology strategy and industry-aligned curriculum development.
With a strong people-first leadership philosophy, Dr Vo-Tran fosters a collaborative and inclusive environment that empowers staff and students to thrive. His expertise spans across research and higher education leadership, having previously served as the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Coordinator, where he played a key role in advancing the department’s research agenda, mentoring emerging scholars, and driving impactful collaborations.
Dr Vo-Tran was instrumental in co-designing and delivering cutting-edge programs such as the Master of Business Analytics and AI Strategy, the Master of Commerce, and the Master of Business IT, ensuring alignment with industry needs and equipping students with the skills necessary for the future workforce.
